Marine Matters

Marine Matters is a weekly newspaper column found within Bunbury's South Western Times newspaper. The purpose of the column is to introduce the wonders of the marine environment with a focus on education and conservation. The column is a joint feature between the Dolphin Discovery Centre and the West Australian Regional Newspapers group and is authored by the Dolphin Discovery Centre's Marine Biologist, Phil Coulthard, along with regular contributions from environmentalists and educators of the region. The first column went to print in January 2008 and has since become a regular feature in most editions of the weekly publication.
