The Dolphin Discovery Centre is now offering a Weekend Education Activity Program for children 5-12 years old beginning 7th February 2013. With the success and positive feedback from our School Holiday Program we have added a new activity that is sure to impress your little one – Be an aquarium assistant for the day!!
Cost: $15 per session (food not included), book both sessions for $35 (includes lunch) per day.
Feel free to book just one session or book both, it’s completely up to you… you deserve a break too….

Session One: Dolphin Detectives How much do you really know about the dolphins in Koombana Bay? Take the ‘Dolphin Detectives Quiz’ and find out! Discover why marine mammals are so special and create your own dolphin artwork you can take home. |
Session One: Aquarium Adventure Have you ever wanted to learn all about the marine life that you see in the aquariums? Spend the day as an ‘Aquarium Assistant’. Help with the fish feeding, keep a record of the fish behaviour and finish off with a quiz to show off all your knowledge! |

Session Two: Talented Turtles Learn all about the Centre’s Loggerhead Turtle program. What do turtles eat, how long do they live and how fast can they swim? Learn all about these magnificent creatures before making your very own to take with you! |
Session Two: Aquarium Adventure You will also get the chance to make an underwater themed craft to take home with you and treasure forever. |
Every program will include observing the dolphins in the Interaction Zone, if we are treated to a visit!
